Paul Whitehead has been drawing, painting and taking photos for most of his life. Travelling extensively after getting a taste during his stint of 6 years in the Australian Navy, joining as a boy seaman at age 15. Paul Whitehead's travels included 5 months through Africa, many trips through Europe, Turkey and parts of Asia.

'Drawing in a variety of mediums has always been a passion of mine. I regularly attend life drawing groups and workshops and my work reflects the many hundreds of hours studying the human form. You just never get there, it could always be better.'

'I paint in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic and watercolour, painting with brushes and pallet knife. I feel there's always room to improve so undertake study, on an on-going bases at Adelaide Central School of Art in various subjects including life painting & tonal realism. My style and subject vary.'

'When my Mum gave me a basic kodak camera to take on a trip to Central Australia in high school, it started a lifelong passion for photography. I'm often up before the dawn to try and capture nature's marvels on film.
I've been fortunate enough to travel extensively and the images on these pages reflect some of the fantastic locations visited.'
